The president of ASEPELT and full professor of Applied Economics (Statistics) of the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM), José-María Montero, has joined Exponential Education as director and coordinator of the International Academic Council, which also includes Nobel laureates in Economics Edward C. Prescott, Finn E. Kydland and Thomas J. Sargent.
 
President of the International Association of Applied Economics (ASEPELT) and long-life honorary member  of the International Atlantic Economic Society (USA), Prof. Montero is also Vice-President of the International Association CESTIRA and advisor for the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, In addition, Prof. Montero is a member of the Editorial Board of prestigious international journals in Economics, Finance and Statistics

I am writing to you because I am the guest editor of the special issue: Applications of Quantitative Methods in Business and Economics Research (https://links.uv.es/vcoll/Mathematics) in Mathematics (journal indexed in JCR, Q1), and I would like you to consider contributing to it.

Empirical papers in all fields of economics and business are welcome. Research papers dealing with, for example, massive data and/or Big Data, Machine Learning or Deep Learning methodologies are especially relevant for this special issue.

ASEPELT ha firmado un Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) con el Instituto de Publicaciones de Investigación en Ingeniería (IFERP, India). Este MoU establece los términos de colaboración entre ambas instituciones por un período inicial de tres años, relacionado con la promoción de ambas instituciones, así como la revista Studies of Applied Economics. Asimismo, desde 2021 tendremos el honor de contar a la IFERP entre los miembros institucionales de ASEPELT.

The International Association of Applied Economics - ASEPELT signs a Cooperation Agreement with TEADMUS Estonia. The scope of the Agreement is the collaboration in publishing scientific articles provided by TEADMUS in the official journal of ASEPELT, Studies of Applied Economics (SAE), and the promotion of ASEPELT and SAE in Estonia and other countries where TEADMUS carries out its academic -and research- related activities.
