The XXXV International ASEPELT Conference will be held in Madrid from June 29 to July 2, 2022, organized by the Department of Applied, Public and Political Economics of the Faculty of Statistical Studies of the Complutense University of Madrid.
The topic of this XXXV conference is Data Science for Applied Economics, and the pivotal aspect on which it will turn will be the opportunities offered by Data Science for the advancement of applied economics. Economics is an empirical science. Data analysis is in fact one of the fundamental elements of applied economics. The quantification of economic phenomena, the contrast of hypotheses about the functioning of the economy, the elaboration of purely predictive models or the evaluation of the impact of economic programs and policies require data analysis.
All the information about the congress is already available on the web https://www.congresoasepelt.es.
We look forward to your participation and your valuable contributions.
