On Thursday November 26th, the presentation of the book Financial Derivatives: products, risks, strategies, accounting and regulation took place in the Madrid Stock Exchange.
 
The event was inaugurated by Mr Roberto Knop, Structured Products Specialist and co-author of the book, who gave a speech about the actual trends of derivative products.
 
Several round tables were organized, where nine out of the thirteen co-authors of the book participated, besides Mr Francisco Javier Fernandez, coordinator of the book, Product Manager and COO of the FX business at BBVA.
 
It is the first publication in Spanish language which covers all aspects related with the derivatives markets from different angles. It is also the culmination of an initiative that has been developed during 5 years.
 
The book has been edited by Delta and counts with the support of the International Association of Applied Economics (ASEPELT) whose President, Mr José María Montero, was also present at the event.
 
It is a privilege for our International Association to have supported the creation of the book, which will be a reference for the students and professors from our Institutional Members (Universities and others).

On November 25, it will take place the presentation of the book Financial Derivatives: Products, risks, strategies, accounting and regulation, coordinated by Fco. Javier Fernández, Project Manager and COO of the foreign exchange business at BBVA. The book has been sponsored by ASEPELT.

Previously, Professor Roberto Knop, expert in Structured Products, will give the conference Current trends in the world of Derivatives.

The event will take place in the BME Assembly Hall, Stock Exchange Palace, Plaza de la Lealtad, 1, Madrid.

The course was held at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Castilla-La Mancha on October 28 and 29, 2021, with the maximum number of students allowed by the regulations of the University.

It was directed by the president of ASEPELT, José-María Montero, and the UCLM professor José Mondéjar. Among the numerous speakers, prestigious representatives from Exponential Education, the Phillipe Cousteau Foundation, Action Plan for the Earth, the University of Málaga, the UNED and the UCLM participated.

On October 6, the XXXIV ASEPELT Congress began with the seminar Diversified investment in sustainable agricultural crops: an opportunity to channel private funds to the countryside, by Borja Menéndez (Asset Manager Beka Asset Management) and Dimas Antúnez Moreno (CFO Bolschare) .

Beka & Bolschare Iberian Agribusiness Fund is the first collective investment vehicle registered in Spain for the exploitation of olive, almond, hazelnut and avocado crops, with a vocation for sustainability under the EU Disclosure Regulation. Representatives of Bolschare and Beka presented the uniqueness of the Fund as a financial product in the context of asset management, as well as its role in democratizing access to investment in agricultural holdings, thanks to the innovation of the agronomic model and the structuring of a diversified structure product suitable for generating sustainable profitability and capital gains.
