ASEPELT has sponsored the TFG/TFM Award convened within the framework of the 2nd R Congress for Business, Teaching and Research, held in Pastrana on November 10 and 11, 2022.

This meeting arises as a continuation of the one that took place in Toledo in June 2021, and is organized by the University of Alcalá and the R-Quixote Society. It is financed by the Courts of Castilla La Mancha and sponsored by Asepelt, the University of Alcalá, R-Consortium and the Master in Data Science & Business Analytics (with R software) from the UCLM.

It is worth noting the quality of the TFM presented and the high capacity shown by the students who have competed for this award, as a result of the analysis of the TFM and their academic records.

The Jury, after analyzing the TFM presented, awarded the following prizes, two second prizes and two prizes:

• Accésit 2: to the TFG titled "Environmental sustainability in Andalusian rural accommodation; perceptions by gender", prepared by D. Andrés Carretero Sosa, under the direction of José Mondéjar Jímenez.
• Accésit 1: to the TFG entitled "Applications of dimensionality reduction techniques in factorial financial models", prepared by D. Javier Martínez Alcañiz, and directed by Juan M. Nave Pineda and Román Mínguez Salido.
• 2nd Prize: to the TFG entitled "The Node Classification Problem: application to the multiclass classification problem in articles related to machine learning", prepared by Eduardo Martínez Tena and directed by Daniel Gómez González.
• 1st Prize: to the TFG entitled "Artificial Intelligence at the service of musical discovery: an approach to Spotify's recommendation systems through Graph Theory", prepared by Mr. Armando Marín Ruíz, under the direction of Javier Cózar del Olmo and Daniel Gonzalez Medina
