On Thursday November 26th, the presentation of the book Financial Derivatives: products, risks, strategies, accounting and regulation took place in the Madrid Stock Exchange.

 

The event was inaugurated by Mr Roberto Knop, Structured Products Specialist and co-author of the book, who gave a speech about the actual trends of derivative products.

 

Several round tables were organized, where nine out of the thirteen co-authors of the book participated, besides Mr Francisco Javier Fernandez, coordinator of the book, Product Manager and COO of the FX business at BBVA.

 

It is the first publication in Spanish language which covers all aspects related with the derivatives markets from different angles. It is also the culmination of an initiative that has been developed during 5 years.

 

The book has been edited by Delta and counts with the support of the International Association of Applied Economics (ASEPELT) whose President, Mr José María Montero, was also present at the event.

 

It is a privilege for our International Association to have supported the creation of the book, which will be a reference for the students and professors from our Institutional Members (Universities and others).
